<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of suppressing a drop of a transmission rate and identifying an antenna of a transmitter side. <P>SOLUTION: The communication system 100 is provided with a transmitter 10 and a receiver 20. The transmitter 10 has two antenna elements 116 and 117, and the receiver 20 has an antenna element 201. The transmitter 10 transmits an output signal T(S<SB>1</SB>) including one pilot signal S1 from the antenna element 116, and transmits an output signal T(S<SB>2</SB>) including one pilot signal S<SB>2</SB>from th antenna element 117. The receiver 20 receives the output signals T(S<SB>1</SB>) and T(S<SB>2</SB>), distinguishes and detects a received signal H<SB>m, n</SB>1 of the pilot signal S<SB>1</SB>, and a received signal H<SB>m, n</SB>2 of the pilot signal S<SB>2</SB>from the received output signals T(S<SB>1</SB>) and T(S<SB>2</SB>)to specify the antenna elements 116 and 117. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
