<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus for vehicle which offers a user with a display configuration with impact. <P>SOLUTION: The display apparatus 10 displays the status of the vehicle by collaborating with the luminous index part 11a attached to a dial plate 11 and the pointer 12 provided in front of the dial plate 11. The apparatus includes a light guiding cover member 17 provided in front of the dial plate 11 while covering the luminous index part 11a, and a light sources for light guided through the cover member 17, wherein the cover member 17 is characteristically composed of: a cover body 17a formed of the light guiding member and also provided with the light receiving part for receiving the light from the light source; a profile luminescent part 17b for luminescent displaying the profile of the predetermined object; and a colored light transparent part 17c which is formed on an arbitrary surface of the cover body 17a so as to configure the profile luminescent part 17b and also which makes visual recognition possible if the luminous index part 11a is luminescent, and if it is not luminescent the visual recognition is blocked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
