PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat accumulator capable of quickly accumulating and radiating a large quantity of heat in spite of being small by achieving improvement in heat efficiency of a flow medium and a heat storage material, effective use of a container internal space, reduction in the flow resistance of the flow medium, and maintenance of heat storage performance over a long time, and the like. SOLUTION: The heat accumulator 1 comprises a cylindrical bottomed container 2 and a blocking member 3 provided in a state of blocking the opening end of the container 2 and having an inlet pipe 5 and an outlet pipe 6 of the flow fluid, and stores the heat storage material 16 in the container 2.
