PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement enabling a reduction in the labor for manufacture, enabling the accurate joining of the parts forming the reinforcement, and capable of developing excellent reinforcing effect and a method of manufacturing the reinforcement. SOLUTION: This reinforcement 2 is buried in an external facing member 1, and comprises a reinforcement net 2a and a reinforcement rib 2b. The reinforcement rib 2b comprises a sheet part 3 formed integrally with both ends of the reinforcement net 2a and an overlapped part 4 formed by folding and overlapping, several times, the ends of the sheet part 3. An anchor fitting 5 inserted onto the overlapped part 4 and engaged with the sheet part 3 and a bolt part 8 inserted into bolt insertion holes 6, 7 formed in the anchor fitting 5 and projecting the end of the reinforcement rib 2b from the rear surface of the external facing member 1 are attached to the longitudinal both ends of the reinforcement rib. Consequently, the reinforcement can be provided with saved labor for welding, and the reinforcement having the parts accurately joined to each other can be provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
