Two projected images from two projector-camera systems, each defined by characteristics c<SUB>1</SUB>=T<SUB>1</SUB>p<SUB>1 </SUB>and c<SUB>2</SUB>=T<SUB>2</SUB>p<SUB>2</SUB>, respectively, are used to create mosaic composite of a desired image c. Formulas p<SUB>1</SUB>=T<SUB>1</SUB><SUP>-1 </SUP>(c-T<SUB>2</SUB>p<SUB>2</SUB>) and p<SUB>2</SUB>=T<SUB>2</SUB><SUP>-1</SUP>(c-T<SUB>1</SUB>p<SUB>1</SUB>) are iteratively repeated with p<SUB>2 </SUB>initially set to zero until p<SUB>1 </SUB>converges to a first mosaic image and p<SUB>2 </SUB>converges to a second mosaic image.
