A retractable partitioning system for vehicules comprising a pair of retractors (10) installed on a pair of seat backs (4) on a divided seat, a pair of partitioning members (15), respectively, adapted to be retracted by the retractors (10), and a pair of locking mechanisms (30) for detecting sudden taking-out of the pair of partitioning members (15) to stop the rotation of retracting shafts (14) of the retractors (10). Setting the partitioning members (15) can protect a crew against a load disposed rearwardly of the seat, and incline the seat backs (4) individually or released them from inclining. <IMAGE> |
