<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which has a simple system structure and can carry out efficiently regeneration treatment of a gas absorption filter. <P>SOLUTION: A gas absorption filter 16 and a compressor 17 are connected in order from the upstream side in an air supply passage 13 to supply air to a fuel cell 11. Air is supplied to the fuel cell 11 by the compressor 17 through the gas absorption filter 16.
