PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting facility capable of executing sorting with high reliability without imposing a burden on a worker, and suppressing a rise in facility prices. SOLUTION: This sorting facility includes an antenna 14 for a storing section provided in each article storing section 6, that limits and transmits positional data of the article storing section 6 within the range of the article storing section, a tag 16 for a worker carried by the worker P for receiving and storing the positional data of the article storing section 6 from the antenna 14, a transfer antenna 28 receiving the positional data of the article storing section 6 stored by the tag 16 and transmitting this positional data, and a tag 22 for a container provided in each article collecting container 20 for receiving and storing the positional data of the article storing section 6 transmitted from the transfer antenna 28. It executes inspection by reading out the positional data of the article storing section 6 accumulated in the tag 22 of the article collecting container 20 that completed article collecting, and confirming the item of the article 4 collected by these positional data of the article storing section 6.
