PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hand-held drive-in device in which a locking means is easily detached and material wear is small. SOLUTION: The hand-held drive-in device for fastening elements includes: at least one drive device 30 for a drive-in plunger 13 movably provided to a guide 12 and which is provided with a driving spring element 31 for the drive-in plunger 13 that can be applied with tension by a bias force applying device 70; and a locking device 50 configuring the locking means for locking the driving spring element 31 at an engagement position 54 in a tension position 22, and thereby, for contacting a locking stopper 53. The locking means is rotatably provided to the locking device 50 and is configured by a wheel element 49 which is rollable on the locking stopper 53. Preferably, the wheel element 49 is supported on a rotating axis D of a holding element 51. The holding element 51 is turnable around a turning axis.
