<p>A session route control method and a communication network system using the method. The method comprises the following steps: CSI-IW senses the ability of the terminal on the user side (201), and sends an amendment message for amending the service activation information in the user signed information to HSS, based upon whether this user terminal has the ability of providing CSI service (202); and HSS request to update the user signed information of the S-CSCF of the domain to which said user terminal belongs, according to the amended user signed information (203); When the S-CSCF received a session request (204), it routes this session request according to the updated user signed information (205,206). The present invention makes it convenience to route a session request from an IMS terminal user, according to the ability of the CSI terminal in which the user resides, to avoid routing a session request to CSI-IW when the terminal does not have the ability about CSI.</p> |
