SELF DIAGNOSIS DEVICE AND A TERMINAL BOX FOR A STREETLIGHT WITH A BUILT-IN SURGE ARRESTER, CAPABLE OF PREVENTING A DIELECTRIC BREAKDOWN OF TERMINAL UNITS BY ARRANGING THE TERMINAL UNITS IN THE TERMINAL BOX

A self diagnosis device and a terminal box for a streetlight with a built-in surge arrester are provided to extend lifespan of the streetlight by preventing damage of a lamp of the streetlight and dielectric breakdown due to induced lightning. A terminal box for a streetlight with a built-in surge arrester includes upper and lower cases(11,12), a terminal block(40), a self diagnosis PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(60), and an upper skin. The upper and lower cases and the terminal block have uneven units. The uneven units are filled with a filling material. A wire terminal unit of the terminal block is filled with the filling material. The self diagnosis PCB maintains the terminal box and dehumidifies the inside of the terminal box. The upper skin opens and closes an electric leakage circuit breaker or a wiring circuit breaker(20) and operates a test button(30).
