Bearing assembly (10) has a bearing that comprises first and second bearing rings that rotate relative to each other about a concentric axis. Connected to the bearing rings are bearing elements (18, 20) with contact surfaces (24, 36) at a distance to each other. If the bearing is worn or runs out of true, the contacts are brought into contact with each other in order to produce an audible noise. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a baling press, especially for a round baler.
