A BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A building management system is provided to add LONWorks(Local Operating Network Works) communication functions to remote controllers of a multi air-conditioning system, thereby carrying out independent distributive control between the multi air-conditioning system and the rest of facilities. A multi air-conditioning system carries out air-conditioning of a building. An Lonworks network(50) connects the rest of facilities of the building with a BMS controller except the multi air-conditioning system. Remote controllers(40) of the multi air-conditioning system are connected to the Lonworks network. Independent distributive control capable of controlling the rest of the facilities or the multi air-conditioning system is available between the multi air-conditioning system and the rest of the facilities without involvement of the BMS controller.
