A system for catching an illegal car using a vehicle registration card is provided to prevent deception in selling and buying a car by facilitating record management of the car through the card having all information of the car. A vehicle registration card(10) uses an RF(Radio Frequency) band, includes an RF band tag(13) and a single or a plurality of RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) IC chips(11), and is attached to a car by including an antenna(12) inside. An RFID reader(20) reads information of the car when the car enters a spot where the reader is installed. A camera(30) photographs a number plate of the car. A computer terminal(40) includes a receiving unit(41), a recognition unit(42), a database unit(43), a car information unit(44), a comparison unit(45), and a transmission unit(46) and recognizes the information read by the RFID reader and image information of the number plate of the car as a character or a figure, compares the information with looked-up information, and transmits the checked information to a server of a station organ(60) when the car is an illegal car. Internet network(50) connects the computer terminal and the server of the station organ wirelessly.
