PANNEL FOR FABRICATED WATER TANK AND PROCESS OF THE SAME

A panel coated with a thin metal layer used for a sectional water tank is provided to protect the water tank from incident light, and to prolong lifespan of the water tank. A panel for a sectional water tank comprises a body(11), a protective layer(16) adhered to one side of the body, and a buffer layer(14) formed at an interface between one side of the body and the protective layer. The body is made out of a conventionally used sheet molding compound, and includes a flat portion(12) as a corner, and a flange portion(13) bent from the tip of the corner in a vertical direction opposite to the protective layer. The protective layer consists of an aluminum film having a thickness of 50-120 micrometers. The buffer layer is made out of a fiber material.
