A motor having a chucking device and a disk driving device including the same are provided to improve the drawing force without increasing the mounting force of a recording disc by moving toenail members inward in the radial direction. A motor having a chucking device comprises a rotor magnet(110) rotating around a predetermined center shaft, a rotating member, a stator, and a fixing member supporting the rotating member. The rotating member has a turn table with a loading part loading a recording disc. The stator facing the rotor magnet creates a rotating magnetic field with the corresponding rotor magnet. The turn table has a cover part(101) covering the axially upper part of the stator, wherein a chucking device(200) is installed at the upper part of the corresponding cover part. The chucking device is placed on the inner periphery of a center opening when a recording disc is loaded on a loading part, and comprises a centering case(210) and an elastic member. The centering case, placed at the receiving opening, comprises a receiving opening for moving plural toenail members in the radial direction, and a support part sliding with the toenail members when the front end formed at the radially outer side of the toenail members moves down in the axial direction. The elastic member, placed in the centering case, forces the toenail members to the radially outer side by engaging with each of the toenail members. The toenail members, whose front end moves axially downward or radially inward when the center opening of the recording disc is penetrated through the centering case, are in contact with the upper edge of the center opening. The toenail members are in contact with the upper surface of the covering part of the turn table in case of contact with the upper periphery of the center opening. The surface roughness of at least one of toenail member side engaging parts(222b) and turn table side engaging part is larger than that of one portion of the toenail members.
