A system of sensors (8,8,8) and a control device (6) are used for the determination of an initial floating angle of a vehicle (2). The condition of the vehicle (2) is measured in successive intervals using several steps. At first the change of the floating angle is determined by comparing the signals obtained from the speed sensors (8,8,8) with a threshold value. In a second step the initial floating angle is determined by using the data acquired in the first step in relation to threshold values regarding a small change and regarding a big change. |
