An optical pointing device used for a personal portable device is provided to integrate a cover glass and a waveguide and fix the integrated cover glass and waveguide according to a waveguide housing to set an optical pointing device easily with a complicated structure. A optical pointing device(100) used for a personal portable device includes a substrate(110), a waveguide housing(140), a cover glass(172), a light source, and a waveguide section(150). The substrate has an image sensor(120) mounted thereon. The waveguide housing is located on the substrate. The cover glass is placed on the waveguide housing. The light source provides light to the cover glass. The waveguide section transmits light reflected from the cover glass to the image sensor. |
