A scroll compressor is provided to prevent oil from not being supplied to a journal bearing when in an error by forming an oil storage unit at an outer surface of the journal bearing and storing a predetermined amount of oil inside. A scroll compressor(100) comprises a motor, a rotary shaft(110) having a supplying pipe(111) inside, a main frame(106), a rotary scroll(105), and a fixed scroll(104). The rotary shaft has an eccentric pin(112), a journal bearing(116), an oil groove(114), and an oil storage unit(115). The eccentric pin fits to the rotary scroll. The journal bearing is installed at a lower part of the eccentric pin and contacted with the main frame. The oil groove is formed at an outer surface of the journal bearing. The oil storage unit is recessed at an upper part of the journal bearing to be separated from the oil groove. |
