The invention relates an apparatus, method, and system for controlling access to resources in a partitioned computer system, specifically guest to host address translations. In one embodiment an apparatus includes an interface, partitioning logic and first and second address translation logic. The interface receives a request from a device to access memory in a partitioned system. The partitioning logic determines whether the device is assigned to a first or a second partition and forwards the request to the appropriate address translation logic. The logic translates the guest address into a host address and accesses the resource. |
