A gas-container detachable device for a portable gas range is provided to prevent contamination due to food cooked in a burner part by detaching a gas container to a passage of a regulator using gears, and to reduce malfunction and afford easy detachable connection and manipulation by a simple construction using the gears. A gas-container detachable device(1) for a portable gas range functions to attach/detach a gas container to a regulator(4) of the gas range, and includes a drive gear(11), a driven gear(12), a threaded part(13), and a pressing part(14). An adjusting knob(5) is detachably fitted into one end of the regulator, which is exposed to the outside, and the drive gear is installed to a predetermined portion of a rotating shaft(11a) having a flow controller(7) to be opposite the adjusting knob. The driven gear engages with teeth of the drive gear. The threaded part is integrally provided on one end of the driven gear, and engages with a treaded part formed on a body of the regulator. The pressing part extends from the threaded part, with a gas groove(141) formed in an end of the pressing part, and presses a gas cock protruded from the gas container so as to discharge gas from the gas container.
