An oil seal having a dual lip is provided to allow lip edges that are closely adhered to an outer circumference of a crank shaft to prevent engine oil from leaking. An oil seal having a dual lip comprises as follows. A first lip edge(30) is equipped with a plurality of inner depressed-carving portions that are formed at regular intervals on an inner inclined surface and a plurality of outer depressed-carving portions that are formed on an outer inclined surface. A second lip edge(32) is equipped with a plurality of inner depressed-carving portions and a plurality of outer depressed-carving portions and formed in a side into which oil leaked through the first lip edge is penetrated. In addition, an oil pocket(200) is formed between the first and second lip edges circumferentially to allow the oil that is leaked through the first lip edge to be maintained. |
