A manufacturing method of a porous body having continuous pores with a uniform diameter formed therein is provided to manufacture a porous body in which pores are formed such that the pores are connected to one another continuously, and an inner diameter of the pores is uniformly maintained as a whole, and to vary easily the diameter of the pores formed in the porous body in the manufacturing process. A manufacturing method of a porous body having continuous pores with a uniform diameter formed therein comprises: a sheet manufacturing step(ST1) of manufacturing a film type ceramic sheet using a doctor blade process that is an ordinary sheet manufacturing process; a combustible member arrangement step(ST2) of adhering the combustible member to the sheet by disposing a combustible member that is a polymer material in a predetermined direction before the formed sheet is dried completely; a sheet pressing step(ST3) of laying up a plurality of sheets in which arrangement of the combustible member has been completed, thereby pressing the sheets by a press or passing the sheets through hot rollers to obtain a pressed sheet with a desired thickness; a sheet coiling step(ST4) of coiling the pressed sheet into a coil shape to obtain a formed body with a cylindrical shape; a press-forming and cutting step(ST5) of press-forming the cylindrical formed body and cutting both ends of the press-formed body to form a formed body with a rectangular shape; a combustion step(ST6) of heat-treating the rectangular formed body at a high temperature to burn and remove the combustible member disposed in the formed body; and a porous body sintering step(ST7) of heating the porous body to a sintering temperature such that the porous body has a predetermined strength. |
