<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for discharging liquid drops, which stably discharges a thick matter in a liquid condition (including a liquid crystal). <P>SOLUTION: The device for discharging liquid drops is provided with a liquid drop discharge head 12 to discharge liquid drops 111 composed of the liquid crystal, a container 23 to contain the thick matter in a liquid condition, composed of the liquid crystal, to be discharged from the liquid drop discharge head, a flow channel 22 through which the thick matter in a liquid condition in the container passes on the way to the liquid drop discharge head and a heating part 51 to heat the flow channel. The liquid drop discharge head and the container are arranged on positions mutually accessible to each other via a contact part and the flow channel is arranged on. or in the vicinity of, the contact part. The container is arranged as an integrated type which is movable together with the liquid drop discharge head in scanning with the liquid drop discharge head.
