摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for electrophotographic photoreceptor and an electrophotographic photoreceptor remarkably reduced in thermal deformation and film forming deformation and capable of attaining high dimensional accuracy and a highly durable lightweight image forming device capable of copying and printing at high speed using the electrophotographic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: In the substrate 1 for electrophotographic photoreceptor, which uses an extruded or extruded/drawn tube of a softened aluminum alloy as a base stock of the substrate and on which a photosensitive layer 11 of amorphous silicon is formed, the aluminum alloy contains >0.7% and <=1.5% Mn and 0.1-1.0% Mg and in the quantity satisfying a conditional equation of 4Mn%+5Mg% <=9%, contains 0.5-1.5% Cu and the balance Al and impurities and the electric conductivity in the extruded tube state is <=38% IACS. The electrophotographic photoreceptor 10 is formed by laminating the photosensitive layer 11 consisting of amorphous silicon on the substrate and forming the surface of the photosensitive layer 11 from amorphous silicon carbide.
