An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to improve optical efficiency by preventing light loss from being generated when the light supplied from a light source part passes through a light guide plate. An LCD(1) comprises a liquid crystal panel, a diffusion member(411), a light source part(420), a lower cover(500), and an optical path transfer member(430). The diffusion member is located at the rear side of the liquid crystal panel. Corresponding to at least one lateral of the diffusion member, the light source part is located at the back of the diffusion member. The light source part emits light in a direction. The lower cover accommodates the light source part, and encloses the diffusion member and a light travel space. The optical path transfer member, located between the light emission path of the light source part and the light travel space, changes the light path of the light source part.
