REFRIGERATOR AND CONTROLLING METHOD FOR THE SAME

A refrigerator and a method for controlling the same are provided to improve inner space and to reduce thickness of a door by containing an outlet of a moving chute in a door when not being used. A refrigerator comprises a door, and a dispenser(100). The door has a front frame(61) and a rear frame(63). The dispenser, of which one part is protruded to the outside of the front frame to discharge ice, contained in a moving chute formed between the first and the rear frames when not being used. The dispenser has a dispensing cover which is protruded to the outside of the front frame with the moving chute.
