A method of manufacturing a door handle is provided to reduce defect rate of the door handle by cooling an outer layer of the door handle within a short period of time. A method of manufacturing a door handle comprises the steps of forming an outer layer on an outer surface of a core by injecting molten resin into a mold cavity(S10), coating nickel on the door handle(S20), printing a color on the door handle(S30), coating an erosion-resistant layer on the door handle(S40), and coating chrome on the erosion-resistant layer to improve erosion-resistance characteristics of the color coating layer and the erosion-resistant layer(S50). The color coating step includes the steps of forming a masking layer(S31), coating a color on the masking layer(S32), and cleaning the masking layer(S33).
