<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a probiotics which reaches the intestine without being perished and deactivated by a protease contained in the gastric juice under strong acidity in the gastric juice and in which an oil phase is decomposed by lipase in the intestine and the viable cell body in the innermost water phase is released in order to solve a problem that a viable cell body such as lactic acid bacteria having useful action on the human body is widely used in the field of foods, medicines, etc., however, normally the stomach has strong acidity of pH 1-2 in it, the viable cell body is perished, deactivated and loses its effect in the stomach by the action of a digestive enzyme existing in the gastric juice. <P>SOLUTION: The probiotics comprises a polyglycerol condensed ricinoleic acid ester. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
