<p>The present invention discloses a flame simulating apparatus for an electric fireplace and an electric fireplace therewith. The flame simulating apparatus comprises a movable light source, which further comprises two or more light shades (21, 22). A relative movement is produced between the two or more light shades (21, 22) when forming a simulated flame.
