In a vehicular actuation system provided with an actuation device to be actuated when an operation member for the actuation device is operated by a hand of a vehicle occupant, it is an object to provide a technology which is effective for enabling the simplification of operation for actuating an actuation device. This object is achieved by a vehicular actuation system (100) which detects a three-dimensional image in an operational area for an operation member (180), determines based on the detected three-dimensional image whether or not a palm or back of hand of a vehicle occupant exists in the operational area, and actuates an actuation device (180) when it is determined that the palm or back of hand of the vehicle occupant exists in the operational area.
