A carton processing machine having a common support frame (100) configured to support a plurality of functional carton processing units (101, 102, 103, 104). In particular, the machine comprises a feeder magazine (101) for holding and feeding preformed cartons, an erecting station (102) to receive the preformed cartons from the magazine and to fold regions of the cartons to provide erected cartons. A transfer actuator (103) transfers the preformed cartons from the magazine (101) to the erecting station (102). The magazine (101), erecting station (102) and transfer actuator (103) are all mounted on the common support frame (100) to provide a compact efficient carton processing machine to reduce the machine footprint and to optimise carton processing. |
