<p>An apparatus for forming an FFC(Flexible Flat Cable) and a forming method thereof are provided to reduce a work time and an error rate by continuously forming suspension units at both sides of a contact unit of the FFC without post processing. An FFC roll(1) wound by an FFC producing device is supplied. A feeding device(2) is installed on one side of the FFC roll to supply an FFC wound around the FFC roll to the one side as much as a set length. A moving robot(4) includes a guide(5) installed on a top surface and is installed at one side of the feeding device to be moved horizontally so that a position of the FFC supplied to the feeding device together with the guide is corrected. A punching device(6) is installed at one side of the moving robot to punch suspension units at both sides of a contact unit of the FFC aligned by the moving robot. A series of image recognition devices includes a vision camera(3), a back light(13), a light power(12), a vision controller(8), a motion distributor(10), a motor driver(11), a PC(9), and a monitor(7).</p> |
