<p>A power supply device and a method for supplying a power supply voltage to a load device are provided to extend a lifetime of a device and to reduce power consumption of the load device. A power supply device includes a signal source(13), an amplifier(12), a controller(14), DC voltage supply sources(15-1,15-2,15-3,15-4), switches(16-1,16-2,16-3,16-4), and diodes(17-1,17-2,17-3,17-4). The signal source outputs a signal changed periodically or aperiodically. The amplifier and controller input the output of the signal source. The DC voltage supply sources are arranged in parallel. The switches correspond to the respective DC voltage supply sources. The diodes are provided in the subsequent stage of each switch for rectification.</p> |
