A catalyst of purifying an exhaust gas and a method for preparing the same are provided to use noble metal performing a catalytic action, a first oxide material supporting the noble metal, and a second material surrounding the first oxide material. A catalyst particle unit(10) includes a noble metal particle(11), a first oxide material(12), a second oxide material(13), and a compound(14). The noble metal particle allows a catalytic action. The first oxide material prohibits the movement of the noble metal particle. The second oxide material surrounds the first oxide material and the noble metal particle. The second oxide material prohibits the cohesion of the first oxide material while preventing the movement of the noble metal particle. The compound serves as a co-catalyst. |
