摘要 <p>The automatic positioning- or engraving method for a laser engraving machine (1), comprises creating patterns to be used for engraving or cutting, framing the pattern with a four-sided frame, obtaining first and second coordinate positions of the two opposite ends of a diagonal of the four-sided frame through measurement, allocating a workpiece (7) by using an infrared radiation emitting device, and moving a pin carrier (5) of the laser engraving machine or cutting machine above the workpiece to determine first and second positioning points. The automatic positioning- or engraving method for a laser engraving machine (1), comprises creating patterns to be used for engraving or cutting, framing the pattern with a four-sided frame, obtaining first and second coordinate positions of the two opposite ends of a diagonal of the four-sided frame through measurement, allocating a workpiece (7) by using an infrared radiation emitting device, moving a pin carrier (5) of the laser engraving machine or cutting machine above the workpiece to determine first and second positioning points in accordance with the first and second coordinate positions respectively, allocating a processor (2) to calculate a midpoint between the positioning points, and utilizing a driving unit to move the pin carrier to the mid point to begin the engraving or cutting of the pattern. In the allocation of the workpiece, an infrared transmitter or a receiver (6) is used to determine the coordinate position of the pin carrier represented on a screen (3). In the allocation of the workpiece and in the movement of the pin carrier, the processor reads the data reported by the driving unit after positioning the infrared-transmitter to determine the coordinate position of the pin carrier. The coordinate values of the coordinate position of the pin carrier are indicated on the screen. The infrared radiation emitting device is installed as a reference on the machine, so that the infrared radiation is emitted through the pin carrier. The coordinates of the positioning points are obtained by adjusting the infrared radiation on the positioning points.</p>
