Ski comprises a ski body (4), a covering layer (12) on the upper side (18) of the ski body, a first assembly unit fixed to the ski body for a front binding element and a second assembly unit. The covering layer is partially recessed on the ski body for fixing the assembly units. The ski body remains essentially undistorted. The assembly units protrude away from the ski body over the covering layer. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a process for the production of the ski.
