The interfaces enable access of network node and access network, with respect to the host. The building block of network node has AAA protocol interface function, control logic function and traffic routing function. #CMT# : #/CMT# Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) network node; and (2) mobile host on heterogeneous network system . #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Heterogeneous network system using code division multiple access (CDMA), general packet radio service (GPRS), enhanced data for global system for mobile communication evolution (EDGE), wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA), CDMA 2000, Inmarsat, Bluetooth (RTM), Zigbee (RTM) technologies, for packet switched service such as internet browsing and computer networking application. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# Since the mobile host is in the center of action during detection of degradations in the actual connections, the recovery actions are initiated immediately. Increases overall system robustness and minimizes the duration of degradation.
