A sawmill for a bamboo sheath is provided to improve quality of packing material made from the bamboo sheath by stably supporting the bamboo sheath when sawing the bamboo sheath. A sawmill for a bamboo sheath comprises an electric plane(40), a vertical electric saw, a chip discharging unit(20c), and a horizontal electric saw(70). The electric plane grinds a cutting surface having a rough tissue. The vertical electric saw includes a fixed electric saw(50a) for cutting one side of the bamboo sheath and a movable electric saw(50b) for cutting the other side of the bamboo sheath. The chip discharging unit is disposed in parallel to a convey unit(20b). The horizontal electric saw cuts an upper portion of the bamboo sheath.
