The tool has a mastic removing tip (28) with a shaft (36) and a head (38) reciprocated by a pneumatic vibration motor (32) operating at a frequency of 120Hz and enclosed in a casing (30). The head, which has a bevelled end with a preferable angle of 30 deg, is made from a polymer material with an optional filler of carbon or glass fibres. The tool is stowed in a container with spaces for cables and a compressed air connector and regulator.
