<p>A method and a system for designing a cord book of MIMO(Multi Input Multi Output) pre-corders having the finite rate channel state information feedback are provided to apply the channel measurements of the up-link to the down-link operated at the different frequency. A partial MIMO transmitter(302) includes a transmission pre-coding block(314). A channel estimation block(322) includes the proper logic, circuit and/or codes for estimating the transmission function of a wireless channel(306). The channel estimation value is communicated to a channel disintegration block(312) for disintegrating the channel. The disintegrated channel is communicated to a channel quantization block. The channel quantization block includes the proper logic, circuit and/or codes for quantizing the channel to the code book. A code book processing block(318) includes the proper logic, circuit and/or codes for producing the code book. A feedback channel(320) shows the channel for transmitting the channel state information from the partial MIMO receiver(304) to the partial MIMO transmitter.</p> |
