A compass device of a welding machine is provided to form a exactly circular arc and cut an iron material when the iron material is cut. A compass device of a welding machine that welds or cuts iron material, which comprises: an extension member whose one end is fixed to a grip part(31) of the welding machine by a fixing unit(14) and the other end corresponding to the one end is extended by a predetermined length, and a center member that is fixed to the extension member by the fixing unit and used as the center of a circular shape when the iron material is formed into the circular shape by the welding machine.
