摘要 A method for manufacturing an aluminosilicate filter with high thermal shock resistance is provided to secure porosity of the filter higher than that of the existing filter produced by an extrusion method and to improve high-temperature oxidation resistance by forming an oxidation resistant film in the filter. A method for manufacturing an aluminosilicate filter with high thermal shock resistance comprises the steps of: applying a ceramic sealing material(2) on the upper part of one end of a flat aluminosilicate fiber sheet(1); laminating a corrugated aluminosilicate fiber sheet(3) on the flat aluminosilicate fiber sheet; applying a ceramic sealing material(2') on the upper part of the corrugated aluminosilicate fiber sheet disposed on the opposite end and the end coated with the ceramic sealing material; laminating a flat aluminosilicate fiber sheet(1') on the corrugated aluminosilicate fiber sheet; forming a laminate produced by laminating the flat and corrugated aluminosilicate fiber sheets in turn, by repeating from the second step to the fourth step; and dipping the laminate in slurry containing silicone powder, phenol resin, and alcohol and then thermally treating the laminate under inert atmosphere.
