<p>A method and an apparatus for processing the reset in a wireless communication system are provided to process the protocol error exactly and to reinforce the transmission efficiency. A receiver receives the packet transmitted from the second communication device(302). When the receiver detects the protocol error on the basis of the packet, a reset process is triggered to the receiver(304). After the reset process is triggered, the receiver is reset and the first receiver is not reset(306). At this time, the reception of any data is stopped or the control packet corresponding to the first transmitter is received. When performing the trigger of the reset process, the reset request packet is transmitted to the second communication device and thereafter the second communication device requests the reset of the second transmitter of the second communication device. Thereafter, the second transmitter instructs the hyper frame number used to the next transmission packet.</p> |
