A communication network exchange system for controlling the waiting during a telephone call, a communication terminal and a method for the same are provided to set the waiting service during the telephone call according to the priority order of the transmitters set by a user previously. A database(262) records the call priority information relating to plural caller's IDs corresponding to the subscriber terminal information. In the state that the call connection between the first transmission terminal and the receiving terminal is maintained, a service control member(261) reads out and compares the call priority information of the first and second transmission terminals. When the call priority information of the first transmission terminal is higher than that of the second transmission terminal, the service control member transmits the call impossible information to the second transmission terminal. The communication system includes an exchange for performing a call connected between the first transmission terminal and the receiving terminal.
