摘要 A transmission for a vehicle is provided to minimize the loss of power transferred among parts of the transmission by forming a cam and a fork in one body to reduce the number of the parts. A power generating unit(3) generates power. A shaft(5) is inserted into a transmission housing(1). The shaft receives revolution power from the power generating unit. A cam unit(7b) and a fork unit(7c) of a fork(7) are formed in a body. The fork pushes a surface of a sleeve(13) to move the sleeve. A fork pin(11) moves the fork. A groove(7a) is formed on the fork so that the fork pin moves and rotates at the same time. The groove is formed on an external circumference of the fork in a spiral shape. The fork pin includes a roller(9). The roller reduces friction resistance generated when the fork pin rotates. When the power generating unit generates the power, the shaft rotates and the fork pin fixed on the shaft rotates. The fork pin moves along the fork groove formed on the fork. The fork pin pushes an end of the fork groove, so that the fork performs a straight-line motion in a longitudinal direction of the shaft. Because the fork is closely adhered to the sleeve located on an end of the fork, the sleeve performs a straight-line motion.
