A method for manufacturing a TFT display panel is provided to simplify a process by omitting a process of forming a black matrix and an overcoat layer, thereby reducing manufacturing costs. A TFT(Thin Film Transistor) display panel manufacturing method comprises the following steps. A printing substrate is provided. In the printing substrate, plural grooves are formed in the same direction. Ink(131) is filled within the grooves of the printing substrate. A color filter is formed by transferring the ink, filled within the groove, onto an insulating substrate(10). The color filter is planarized. An insulating layer(12) is formed on the color filter. A TFT is formed on the insulating layer. On the insulating layer, a conductive layer for gate line is formed. The conductive layer for gate line comprises lower conductive oxide layers(221,241,261,271), conductive layers(222,242,262,272) and upper conductive oxide layers(223,243,263,273). By performing photolithography of the conductive layer for gate line, gate lines(22,24,26,27) are formed. |
