A medical polyurethane hydrogel composition is provided to maintain a properly wet atmosphere even while absorbing body fluids rapidly to prevent a local saturation phenomenon caused by an excess of percolate. A medical polyurethane hydrogel composition includes 3-15wt% of polyurethane prepolymer, 10-50wt% of polyol, 0.5-15wt% of polymethoxyethylene maleic acid, 0.5-10wt% of an organic amine, and the balance of water. A method for preparing polyurethane hydrogel film includes the steps of: applying the sol-state polyurethane hydrogel composition(e) onto an advancing release paper(b) to regulate the coating thickness with a knife coater(f); passing the sol-state polyurethane gel composition through the knife coater before the gel point to convert the sol state into a gel state; and passing the coated gel-state composition and woven fabric(c) between pressing rollers(i,k) to continuously form polyurethane hydrogel film(a) between the release paper and woven fabric.
