A sound apparatus in a scooter is provided to reduce the size of a meter panel and to make the part around a steering unit compact by arranging speakers and a meter on the meter panel by disposing speakers adjacent to relief parts of the meter. A scooter comprises a meter(55) having display units related to the scooter such as a speed meter(55b) and an engine RPM(Revolution Per Minute) gauge(55d); sound parts installed in the scooter; and speakers(56) installed near the meter to output the sound generated from the sound parts. In a sound apparatus of the scooter, the meter and the speakers are integrated on a meter panel(173). The shape of the meter has relief parts(61,62) corresponding to the shape of the speaker.
