<p>An artificial marble stone is provided to realize a pearl effect, metallic effect and/or three-dimensional effect and to obtain appearance very similar to the appearance of natural marble stone. An artificial marble stone(7) comprises: a base resin(5); a matrix resin; and interlayer separable chips(4) containing an additive that is phase separated by the specific gravity difference from the specific gravity of the matrix resin and exists partially or totally in a layered structure in the matrix resin. The base resin is selected from the group consisting of acrylic resins, unsaturated polyester resins, epoxy resins and melamine resins. The additive is selected from the group consisting of pearl, metals, natural stone powder, quartz, glass, mirror and transparent resin chips.</p> |
